I found the Phil Duclos article on the air floating end mill sharpener in the Sept/Oct 1987 HSM. He said if you give it a spin it will rotate 3 minutes. The body is 4" long, bore dia 1-5/16" dia.The two internal groves are 1" from each end and 1/16" wide,1/64" deep. The air is ported into the groves from the bottom.

After the gash is ground, if the end mill doesn't look right, advance the cross feed 0.001" at a time and grind closer to the tooth face. We dedicated resharpened endmills to the roughing phase of CNC or to the manual mills. Use a new endmill for final cut in CNC. Sharpening the ends can be tricky unless you have a very sharp wheel. You might have to touch up the nub left over. I would recommend chamfering the corners with a homemade fixture (if possible for you).
